“It’s Darkest Before the Dawn: A Good Friday Concert” – Join Rev. Susan Sparks, world-renowned concert pianist and choral director Aza Sydykov, the acclaimed Madison Avenue Baptist Church choir, and classically trained emerging artists for a Good Friday meditation and concert. The service starts at 5:30 p.m. with a short opening message by Rev. Sparks about the moments before dawn. The remainder of the service will invite our guests into a personal reflection through music on the transition from mourning to anticipation to hope. Selections will include Handel’s Messiah as well as classical, Broadway, and Pop selections. All are welcome!
